Institutional Review Board (IRB)

The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton IRB oversees all human subject research approved at Dayton Children’s.  It ensures that federal, state and institutional guidelines are met for the protection and welfare of all research participants.

The IRB, composed primarily of scientific members, as well as non-scientific and community members, conducts scientific and ethical reviews.  The review process for research involving human participants is administered through the Dayton Children’s IRB Office.
